Sperm freezing via Cryogenix starts at €350 per year (incl. 19% VAT). This covers full coordination, specialist transport in liquid nitrogen and long-term storage at a specialised cryo lab. In addition, there is the partner clinic's one-time medical fee - consultation, blood test, semen analysis and cryopreservation - billed separately under the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ). The package covers everything after the sample deposit: we coordinate your appointment, collect the frozen sample from the clinic in a specialist container and store it permanently at around -196 °C in liquid nitrogen - at the specialised cryo lab of BioKryo GmbH in Germany. All prices include 19% VAT.

Consultation, blood test (legally required infection serology), semen analysis and the cryopreservation itself are performed by the partner clinic under its own medical direction. It bills these services - as with any private medical treatment - directly to you under the German medical fee schedule (GOÄ).

If you need your samples for fertility treatment or want to transfer them to another facility, a retrieval fee of €390 incl. VAT applies; the specialist transport to the destination clinic is charged separately depending on the destination. The subsequent medical treatment (e.g. IVF/ICSI) is billed separately by the treating clinic.
Your samples remain your property at all times. Storage is independent of Cryogenix at the BioKryo cryo lab - even in the event of cancellation or business closure, your samples remain safely stored there.

Preventive storage is a self-pay service - statutory health insurers generally do not cover it. Privately insured customers should clarify possible reimbursement with their insurer in advance.
The Standard package can be cancelled annually. Cancellation is fully online via our cancellation form - no phone call, no justification needed.
